Next ASC Concert: Mikhail Timoshenko & Elitsa Desseva at Schubertíada
The next Art Song Challenge concert takes baritone Mikhail Timoshenko and pianist Elitsa Desseva to the Schubertíada in Catalonia.
As recipients of a concert prize at the Art Song Challenge 2025, the duo will perform Franz Schubert’s monumental song cycle Winterreise, D. 911. Their interpretation combines dramatic intensity, sensitive musical dialogue and a strong sense of storytelling.
The concert is part of the Art Song Challenge’s commitment to creating lasting opportunities beyond the competition itself. Through paid engagements at our partner festivals, selected artists bring their work to new audiences and become part of a growing European network for art song.
We are delighted to see this ASC collaboration continue on stage in Pals.
